Event Tracing Provider Framework  

CTraceController::GetTracerLevel

Event tracing controllers will call EnableTrace passing in the provider level for an event tracing session. The level gets communicated to the provider which is retrieved by calling GetTraceEnableLevel.

Parameters

None.

Return Value

This method returns the provider’s tracing level that is specifically interpreted by the provider. The tracer level is the detail level of the events produced by the provider. A provider can define its detail level from 0 to 255 and the interpretation of this value is user defined.

Platforms: Windows 2000, Windows XP Home Edition, Windows XP Professional, Windows Server 2003 family
